What you’re reading there can only be someone’s guess, when I follow those links I only see enrollment?

BYU is non-profit and private so they receive no subsidy from the state. They only have to disclose what they want to. When I’ve read about coaching salaries From Notre Dame it says they only release the salary of Brian Kelly and perhaps the athletic director... and they chose to do so. BYU doesn’t do that.

This topic is dumb, I don’t doubt BYU pays less than other schools but I absolutely doubt KS (or any coach) was unable to get assistance they wanted bc BYU was unwilling pay up, they got who they wanted who also fit BYU... that’s a narrow group
