Girlfriend breaks up with controlling boyfriend, girlfriend immediately gets new boyfriend, ex boyfriend gets embarrassed/enraged and kills her, ex boyfriend enlists drug dealer friend to help dispose of the body, drug dealer friend rats out ex boyfriend to save himself. This theory lines up with timelines and phone records. Case closed.
