My wife and I were down in AZ visiting my family, probably 20 years ago. My wife liked to scrapbook, so she asked my mom if she had any mementos that needed to go into a scrapbook. My mom thought a moment, then dug out a box she hadn't touched in years. My wife was standing next to her as Mom opened the box. That photo was in there, rolled up, just gathering dust.

My wife said, "You HAVE to get this framed!" So, they did. They also made copies for all the kids. The next time we visited AZ, my mom said to my wife, "I want to show you something." She went to the original photo, which she had in a really nice frame on her wall, and showed my wife the back. Written in her handwriting was that my wife and I were to get that photo when they passed on.

My mom passed away about 3 years ago, and my dad passed away last year. I now have the original hanging in my house.
