Please describe “invest” as you use it in this context.
I “save and invest” and I’m no wealthier than if I didn’t. At least not in any demonstrable way. I’m still gonna need to work till I’m 73 and then I’ll live modestly off of all my “investing”. Tell me I’m doing it wrong because there is no end to the tunnel.

Wage gain should hopefully meet inflation. But it should not match with the stock market. Minimum wage
