Our youth league in NOVA is by weight. Then kids are split into different
divisions in the same weight class by skill.
I was worried that my oldest would have some growing pains when he started freshman football as kids of all sizes could play against each other at that time and all he was used to was playing against kids his weight, but there were zero issues.
