and I have to say, I live in a completely different world. One I never knew existed...maybe I am going to get kicked out of the club for sharing this, but here is my experience so far

I am in the club. It seems any other man with a beard, especially with equal to or less hair than mine, seems to either make approving eye contact, the bro nod, or out and out compliments on how nice it is
My Saudi and other middle eastern students, have all of the sudden become more friendly and have also complimented me
Women, (I'm a married spud, I'm a married spud) are also seeming to be more inclined to comment, compliment my appearance, or look approvingly
My wife says she doesn't like it, but certain statistics I wont mention beg to differ
I have never gotten more free stuff. I have a morning routine where I get a Sodalicious every morning. Never once in 3 years I have gone there have I gotten a free one. Since the beard, she has given me at least 4 free and multiple discounts. The sushi guy, though I admit he gave me free sushi before, has done so more often.

Men with beards know I am not making this up. I am almost 100% positive you all have experienced some or all of the above.
