her it would take me 20-30 minutes, so she didn't need to worry. She didn't believe me. I finished the job with plenty of time to spare, so I also rotated the tires. In all it took about 50 minutes. It also helps to have a big air compressor, nice floor jack, and a pneumatic impact gun.

When I got done and told my wife that I had just done the front brakes AND rotated the tires in under an hour, she didn't even react. I felt like I had just won the superbowl, and she just yawned like she didn't care. It kind of burst my bubble.
