With a bumper pull trailer you need an equalizer hitch and an anti-sway bar
The problem with a bumper pull trailer is that if you get passed on the interstate or other multi-lane road by a semi or even a regular passenger vehicle going significantly faster than you, you're going to get sucked over towards their lane and start to wobble back and forth.

I've been looking at a Hensley Arrow anti-sway hitch. People who do more bumper pulling than I do swear by them. They're supposed to be the best anti-sway hitch in the known universe. I've never pulled the trigger though because the pricing starts at around $2500 just for the hitch.
