My wife's family had long held Krull up as perhaps one of the top 5 worst movies they had ever seen, with terrible dialog, a redundant cycle of redundancy throughout that is laughable, and cringingly bad acting.
I thought to myself, "It can't be that bad." So, one weekend when my wife was out of town and the kids were in bed, I was scanning through a movie service looking for something to watch. There was Krull, so I thought I'd try it.
It wasn't as bad as my wife and her family said: it was worse. It was like watching a train wreck, but with worse dialogue. There was no humor, it was overly dramatic, and it was a cringefest
But, other than that it was fine.
