This. I brought this up at a team meeting with one project not too long ago.
They probably just think I'm the wet blanket in the room, but I really do worry about this.
Your point about time and decision-making is awesome. I'm all about that--especially establishing dearly held values and mission statements that dictate that decision-making process.
But trying to dictate a culture a few months into your startup is putting the cart waaaaaay before the horse.
