Anyone up on their science knows that banning shoes in the house is foot health rule #1
Only exception is people who’s feet are already messed up and need to babied and protected from hardwood floors which are an unnatural surface.

Since changing from mostly carpet to laminate - I wear slippers all the time. I hate walking barefoot on hard flooring.
