My wife grew up on O'ahu. No shoes in the house.
If you do, she'll tell you to remove them. I grew up in Idaho and wore shoes in the house. I don't anymore, but more out of respect for my wife.

We don't wear shoes in my house. But then again, I'm not all that bummed that

Why would you wear shoes in your house?

I don't like walking around in socks or barefeet. I switch to my slides pretty quick.

Since changing from mostly carpet to laminate - I wear slippers all the time. I hate walking barefoot on hard flooring.
