Uber is more reliable than my car. If my car breaks down... or the guys at the garage take forever.. then I'm late. But
UBER has hundreds of cars on the road at any given time and if you have status with them (which someone who uses them daily would have).. then you get bumped to the top of the waiting list if there is one....
Edit - obviously UBER in all cities is not equal....so it depends on your city.
