Towards the end of last year defenses were sagging off of Rubio in PnR so hard, basically daring him to shoot the ball. Even if Conley isn't shooting the 3 ball that great, the fact that defenses are playing him tighter than they were playing Rubio frees up other players to play more aggressively.
