I doubt they go independent.
If they are suing, they'll probably settle with the MWC in some way. If they are fed up enough to leave, I wouldn't be surprised if the AAC agreed to a football-only agreement and BSU put their sports in the Big West with Hawaii.
I think Boise would avoid independence at all costs.
