professional school. She had about $150K in debt, but we should have it all paid back soon. She borrowed the money and we intend to pay it all back. Not sure why someone would expect someone else to pay off their loans.

Depends on the specific job. I’m more fine with it for jobs that are otherwise hard to staff, dangerous, etc.

If you have a job that pays well then you'd typically have your loans paid off after the required 10 years of payments
