All the other small sports are great in the WCC, and that fits well for BYU considering their place in the national conversation in the small sports as well. Mens basketball is trending up in the WCC with Gonzaga obviously being the front runner, but BYU and St. Mary's right there too. Other schools are starting to do their part better as well with Pepperdine, Pacific, UFC, etc. all trending up.

The highly regarded academics, and religious focus of the school is what makes BYU such a good fit for the conference. Enrollment obviously is different but where each school strives to be academically makes for a very good fit for BYU in the WCC.
