Why does it have to be all one way or the other? Yes, Bronco and Whit compete for church member recruits. But I think the scarcity of quality BYU head coach candidates is also a significant issue for the program.

What some folks here fail to understand is that Bronco being successful means he’ll steal recruits from BYU.
