I think we may overestimate DIFFERENCE in money and EFFECT of money.
There are P5 programs with way more money than BYU that I would never trade positions with.
And there are G5 programs ever year that finish ahead of BYU by every competitive measure.
Also, the actual difference between Indy $$ and G5 $$ isn't as clear as people seem to assume. If we had a sweat-heart deal like BSU, and if we were able to negotiate our out-of-conference schedule without the conference interfering, it might be closer than people think.
