I wonder if it could be a good idea instead of “we should”. Not sure it would be a good idea or not.

I had a GA tell me once that he believes the church shouldn’t be in education outside of institute. Knowing he has sway and that there are more like him make me wonder sometimes if separating it would help ensure all parties are aligned behind the success of the school. Whereas now the church is supportive but often feels like it goes out of its way to avoid appearing like it views sports as important - as evidenced by cutting sports at other church owned schools.

So I don’t know that I want them to do it. But I do sometimes think it could be the best move to remove the weird lack of alignment from the BOT.
