they would no longer need a day job. It is something interesting to contemplate though. I have worried about it. So much is computer driven and IMO it can accelerate the increases and decreases.

There was an article posted on CB not too long ago that the three largest index fund families control something like 20-30% of the large cap stocks - the bigs, and there is a concern that there is no corporate governance over those shares.
