So my mom was involved in an incident where a dog off leash came up to my mom’s dog who was on leash. One thing led to another and there was a fight.
Sadly things did not turn out so good for the other dog apparently.
However my mom was ticketed for harboring a “viscous animal”.
I dont know how they figure that. Does not seem logical that because one dog won the fight it is therefore viscous; it was just much bigger. It’s not a “dangerous breed”.
At any rate there will be a court date. I want to make sure her side of the story is heard and a true accounting of what took place happens.
I think a legal representation to help her achieve this will maximize those odds.
Any recommendations?
