The actual weirdos are considered homeschoolers for life. So the weirdos are a minority, but they're the majority of kids referred to as home schooled kids.

Also, the weirdos probably would have been weird in public school because it s a parental thing more than a homeschool thing. Homeschool just exacerbates the problem in those situations.
