I really do feel bad for most homeschooled children. So many common issues.
(anti-vax issues aside from the other thread)

Most seem to be socially awkward from being kept away in a bubble from the world.
Many seem to be behind in learning skills as well.

I substitute taught the 10 year old primary class several months ago and there was a girl in there that could hardly read. Found out later she was homeschooled and the mom "taught" all 5 of her children at the same time each day. How does that even work? Are they all "learning" the same things?

I don't know. I'm sure there are ways to do homeschooling right, but that seems to be the rare exception.

What do you guys think?
