I think BYU could keep Pope over most D1 jobs if they are willing to pay the market rate (which they should but probably
won't). However, there are some blue blood jobs at traditional basketball powers and any NBA job where BYU just can't compete. Hopefully he has enough success to be courted by those jobs and hopefully BYU pays him well enough that he doesn't taking an intermediary step.
