to do much yet, but bringing a healthy player back into actual game time for bits is a lot better than holding him out and hoping practice will do the trick until you really need him in a game. Doing this now isn't to expect him to produce much. It's to have him for later with getting acclimated behind him. I still don't think he'll bring a ton to the table later on, but the few things he does have just happen to be what BYU lacks everywhere else, so it could come in handy without official stats saying he's extremely meaningful.
