This sounds like GW is saying BYU's record with UoP won't count in tiebreaker

Head-to-head, then top to bottom against league opponents. Unbalanced schedule results in some teams getting skipped in the comparison process. Generally speaking, a two-way tie with SMC would not work out well for BYU.
