that one and the one about the missionary who flicked an annoying cat in the nose and accidentally killed it when the owner stepped out of the room and then they curled it up like it was asleep and then left. I would be curious to find the origin of both of those because I’ve heard them both attributed to “a guy that I know…“ on multiple occasions. I’m guessing at some point the story really happened, just probably not to the person who claims they knew the person who did it.
