I remember my dad taking me and my brother to help clean up a similar hoarder
house in our ward. I got lucky, my job was to scrape the garage floor. We had to first move about 5 tons of crap just to find the garage floor. When we finally got to it, we saw that the floor was covered with 30+ years of the nasty unthawed meat and frozen food juices that had poured out of her freezer when it had stopped working decades back. All of the food thawed and then seeped out of the freezer and then congealed and then hardened into a 3 inch layer on the garage floor. There were mouse and rat carcasses entomb and mummified in the different layers of hardened meat juices. So fun. The lady we were helping and her 2 adult sons didn't lift a finger.

Later that night my dad realized he left his new BYU jacket at this lady's house. He called her and asked about it and she said "nope, you didn't leave it here." A week later my mom was helping this lady put on a garage sale and my mom found my dad's new $75 BYU jacket in the $5 bin.
