I'm in Tech, and I got a technical job on BYU campus for 3 years until I graduated. That job combined with my major was the reason I got the job I had right after graduation, which I've leveraged into a 10 year career to this point. Not everybody has the same experience, but I'll ALWAYS recommend working a part-time job while going to school full time.
