As a physician, I see old patients with multiple health problems that die of pneumonia and respiratory failure every day. While yes this part of the life cycle and plan of salvation is sad, very little can be done for some patients that are extremely debilitated to begin with.

I don’t want to minimize the gravity of this likely pandemic, but the significance of reported death rates are extremely hard to interpret without full demographic data and info of the health status of those afflicted with the virus.
