he said that if money is what you're after you can always find somewhere else to get more money. He, himself didn't expect to be at BYU as long as he was. He also said that BYU will take care of you (speaking of the head coach and his salary) and make your life comfortable. He also said something that indicated that the success and excitement BYU basketball is having this year will lead to BYU trying harder to keep Pope and that because of player commitments and it only being his first year there is almost no chance that Pope leaves after this season. He said Pope would almost surely take the Kentucky job if the opportunity came up, but it's unlikely that job is available anytime soon.
It was a little funny when Rose mentioned the $100 billion and that if BYU/the church wanted to they could pay for any coach. It sounded to me like, in Dave's opinion, BYU takes care of their coaches but they want their coaches to be there for more than the money.
