plenty of extra hours, missed some family events, etc. to make sure I secured my spot. The trip was to an all inclusive resort near Cancun, scheduled for April 1-5. That was officially cancelled and the trip was postponed til middle of September. I start the BYU MBA program this fall, and since I will no longer be employed by my company at that point, I can't go on the trip nor can I receive a payout of any kind.

I know plenty of people have bigger problems than a cancelled trip right now, but still. I've taken one vacation with my wife since we were married nearly 7 years ago, was really looking forward to it, especially since I had to make some sacrifices specifically to earn this vacation. This virus can kiss me where the sun don't shine.
