beginning this virus needs to be respected, but I think our number one tactic should have been to isolate those who are the highest risk of catching it: the elderly, those with serious pre-existing conditions and the families of those 2 groups. From the article I read on Fox it said that Japan aggressively isolated those who they thought were likely carriers of the virus. The also limited large social gatherings to some degree, cancelled school and altered mass transit schedules to limit the number of people going to/from work at the same time. Oh, and they also tested for high temperatures in the airports.
Businesses and most restaurants are open and their country is generally flourishing.
