I managed to put this out of my mind since last year, but I've been painfully reminded. After tax refunds, in effect I am now paying many many times more in income tax to Utah than I am to the federal government.

Utah never adjusted to account for Fed tax reform thus raising their take from filers. Why should we pay more taxes?
