Do you know if the 10,000 advance/grant will be deducted from SBA7A forgiveness?

In other words, if I will be getting the SBA loan and having my payroll forgiven following the 8 week period, does the $10,000 grant from the EIDL loan really help me? I have heard that it will just take away from the amount I will be forgiven either so it comes out a wash. I don’t need the EIDL, but don’t want to miss out on as free $10,000 for my business.

thats not how it works. You can get a loan for 2.5 X...but only 8 weeks

That portion would just no longer be forgiven, but you can still get the loan.

My understanding is that the $10k grant would be deducted from the PPP.
