Do you think this whole thing is funny?  And to the "we still fight wars" poster: You are right; war is often foolhardy and unnecessary.  But the risk vs reward thing makes sense and applies if, after this party, everyone attending it self-quarantined.  Then I would say to them to go ahead and party on, Garth.  But they won't; they will be out and about among the public.  So they aren't just risking their own health.  Risk vs reward?  What is the reward in having this party?  What is the risk?
