I’m lazy. Pellet is just easier and less cleanup. I can’t tell the difference
but it your retired and have a lot of time non pellet is fine.

Both are good options but I’d personally go pellet. It’s just more convenient.

Get a Yoder with grill grates. Can do pizza, sear steaks, etc. Super easy.
