Agreed. I just said what I think they should do...

College athletes would probably be more "at risk" of dying from a car accident as they would be from COVID-19 under my proposed format, but Universities are basically making every decision using the "worst case scenario" projections and even if the athletes would be safer in this tournament than at home the NCAA would still never go for it. I think the tournament could easily proceed based on the actual risks rather than the hysteria, but it would take only one tournament athlete being hospitalized from COVID-19 for everyone to second-guess the entire thing and colleges won't take that risk. The optics aren't good on dedicating testing to the athletes (even though athletes and famous people are managing to get tested much easier than the general population already.
