Signs are very positive that hydroxychloroquine will put an early end to things.
Yesterday the FDA approved it as treatment. We have had more than triple the doses donated than we have cases.

Because the FDA approved it, we know the initial testing in NYC is going well.

If it works like initial tests seem to think it works, then this will be over very soon. We'll see extreme cases flatten and fall, we'll all take it to prevent the illness, and we'll be back to normal. A vaccine will then end the pill taking.

I just think it's better news than everyone's even thinking.

As for the gradual sense of dread, that's normal, I've been there before (but for some reason not in this crisis). I'd say a few things:

1. If the dread comes on, don't resist it because it will come on stronger. Instead, ask yourself why you're feeling it. Validate the feeling, tell yourself it's okay to feel that way.

2. Once you've validated it, challenge it. Put logical thoughts to it.

3. Do something that will boost your mood after those first two steps. Go for a walk, ride a bike, get outside your house.

4. Watch what you're feeding your brain. If you feed your brain negativity all day (thoughts, news, twitter, etc.), then the negative thoughts will for sure come through. Feed your brain positivity.
