JJ was a near 1000 yard rusher and a good receiver out of the backfield. I
loved Kariya’s hard nosed attitude, but that was also his biggest weakness. He never saw a tackler he couldn’t turn to run straight at rather than turn to avoid. Shoot, sometimes all he needed to do was keep running straight rather than turning so he could meet a tackler head on.
