We heard the same rumor here in WA last week. There were a couple of units activated, but it was just for
possible emergency measures. Nothing more.
It's actually good to see a few units in each state activated for random situations that could possibly arise. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

By many accounts there were more hospitalizations, but it was just attributed to a “worse than normal flu season”
