If you watched the press conference yesterday you can see she doesn't believe the models and feels the rate will
be MUCH lower than what models predict. They don't make the models.
My assumption is that the administration decided to go long with the 30 day stay at home guidelines to mentally prepare the public for long term social distancing. Easier to lift something than restrict it further.
