lockdown on January 24th and was literally welding people shut in their apartment complexes. There were multiple videos posted online of armed officials in hazmat suits dragging infected individuals out to who-knows-where. There were videos of the Chinese government dust-cropping the streets trying to disinfect the city.

There were numerous videos out of China showing dead bodies piling up in the hallways of hospitals and dying patients writhing on the floors gasping for air.

There was enough out there early on to raise a few eyebrows and wake people up to start prepping.
