Dunno, has nothing to do with the fact that Pepperdine should be better next
season than they were this season. And they were already solid.
I've said for years that Romar is a mediocre/poor coach and great recruiter. Still true.
As a guy that watched Roy/Robinson/Hawes/Brockman/Appleby etc., I have a pretty good idea of Romar's milquetoast in-game abilities.
