It’s more about how the pay scale is derived that is the problem.
If men are paid by percentage of revenue that’s fine. But you can’t offer to pay men in one model and then women in an entirely different model.

Men’s pay currently isn’t based on revenue.

All they have to do is say hey, we get this much money from men athletes and we will pay men based off of a percentage of that number. We get x amount from women and they get the same percentage of from that separate pot.

Just like commission employees. The percentage is the same to start with, but the pot is dependent on their production.
