What's concerning is media adding verbiage to a situation that can be fear inducing and imply something is different
than it is in actuality. It's very simple--the order made it clear there would be no penalty and this was only meant to urge people, not require people. There is a difference between urging people and requiring them with threat of penalty. The text of the order makes it crystal clear it is the former and not the latter. There is a difference there. For the media to portray this as a step beyond what it is in reality by introducing verbiage not even used in the order itself is fairly irresponsible. In an environment where fear and paranoia are already running more rampant than they have in decades, doing things to inflame that paranoia is irresponsible.
