Question: why are some assuming testing will reveal that TONS of people have it?
Is it just wishful thinking that there are millions of minor cases walking around that will lower the mortality rate? And we will have already developed herd immunity?

To me it seems like wishful thinking entirely. Most states are hovering around 5%-7% of the number of folks tested who actually have it. That tells me the case the number is probably pretty accurate. Again, is there any evidence to think large swaths of people have it? Or just wishful thinking? Because the evidence seems to suggest that still very very few have it relative to the population.
