I'm no expert by any stretch, but everything I have read about Corona Virus vaccines is that they haven't may a successful vaccine yet for any of the previously known corona viruses. These are tricky viruses. The vaccine technology has changed a lot over the last half a decade, but we are probably more than just 12 months away from a vaccine.

Here is an interesting article. From what I have read, nobody has actually worked a vaccine through to approval using these new techniques. Either the proposed vaccine doesn't work, or money dries up, or whatever other reason.
