We were just talking to my MIL’s neighbor who’s an ER doctor in the Bay Area. She said the same - volume down, but what

is coming in is worse (but still not a lot of respiratory patients - she specifically mentioned appendicitis and something else medical that I can’t remember). She figures people are just waiting until things get REALLY bad before coming in to the ER now.
